Beachy Keen Cleaning (“we,” “us”) is a locally owned cleaning company. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can contact us. It covers our public website at beachykeencleaning.com and the contractor portal we use to schedule and complete cleanings.

What information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- Website visitors and customers. Name, email address, phone number, and the message you send through our contact form. You may include a property address or other details in that message.
- People applying for cleaner work. Name, email address, phone number, years of cleaning experience, and a resume if you choose to upload one.
- Office and cleaner accounts in our contractor portal. Name, email address, phone number, login credentials, role (for example office or cleaner), and session information needed to stay signed in.
- Cleaner work records. Legal name, mailing address, emergency contact, service area, checklist completion, check-in and check-out times, and photos of completed work.
- Property and job records we keep to do the work. Property addresses, owner contact details, scheduled cleaning windows, pay amounts, and access instructions. Access codes and similar details are kept for the job. They are not included in operational text alerts.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use this information to:
- Answer questions and schedule cleanings
- Assign work, confirm that a cleaner arrived and left, and review completed jobs
- Pay cleaners and keep ordinary business records
- Operate our website and contractor portal
- Send operational text alerts to a manager who has opted in, as described below
- Meet legal and insurance requirements
We do not use this information to send marketing text messages.
How we protect information
Access to the contractor portal requires an account. We limit office access to people who need the information to do their job. We do not publish property access codes in text messages. We host the website and portal with a commercial hosting provider. We do not claim that any system is perfectly secure.
Service providers
We use companies that help us run the business. They may process information on our behalf:
- Hosting and website tools. Our public website and contractor portal are hosted by Hostinger. The website may also use caching and standard WordPress, form, and search tools needed to run the site.
- Text messaging. If a manager opts in to operational alerts, a text-messaging provider (Telnyx) may deliver those messages. Saving a consent record in the portal does not by itself send a text.
These providers are not allowed to use this information to market their own products to you.
How long we keep information
We keep records for as long as we need them to schedule and complete cleanings, pay people, meet legal requirements, and resolve questions about a job. When we no longer need a record, we delete it or stop using it as personal information. We do not keep a separate published timetable for every type of file.
Operational text messages
Beachy Keen Cleaning Operational Alerts is an optional program for a manager who has a portal account. If that person checks the consent box and saves a mobile number, we may send texts when a cleaner checks in to or checks out of a scheduled cleaning. Message frequency varies and is normally about two messages per cleaning. Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates except with service providers that help deliver the requested messaging service, or when required by law.
Cookies
Our website and portal use cookies or similar tools that are needed to run pages, keep you signed in, and remember basic site settings. We do not use the public website to send marketing texts.
